Piraeus is the principal port of Athens and the primary operational base for the Greek charter fleet. Dozens of 30 to 80 meter charter yachts winter here and operate seasonal charter programs through the Ionian and Aegean. Our work at Piraeus is refit-focused — technology upgrades during shoulder season before vessels begin the charter calendar.

Perama is the heart of Greek yacht refit. Olympic Marine operates one of the largest refit facilities in the Eastern Mediterranean, handling vessels up to 100 meters for multi-week yard periods. Cave Group runs full technology refits during Perama yard windows — legacy Crestron 3-Series to 4-Series with Crestron lighting control (replacing any old Lutron HomeWorks Illumination left from previous integrators), legacy VSAT to Starlink Maritime, and full UniFi Protect deployments.

Lavrion, on the southeastern tip of Attica, serves as an additional haul-out and refit location. Vessels scheduled for major yard work here typically combine hull, mechanical, and technology refits in a single period. We coordinate our work with other trades to fit within the yard's schedule.

Athens is the owner base for much of the Greek charter fleet. Captains, management companies, and owners operate out of the city year-round. Our involvement here includes pre-season system commissioning, in-season remote support, and planning sessions for upcoming refits. Most engagements start with an Athens meeting before any yard work begins.
