Does an upgrade mean living in a construction site?+–
No. Most of the work happens at the equipment rack. We plan it so that the house is never without lights, and most rooms are back in service the same day. The walls stay closed.

Usually. If the programming files were left with the house, we start from those. If not, we document what the system does and rebuild the programming, which is often an improvement on what was there.
