We link the buildings with fiber, give each one a small equipment location, and run them as one Lutron and Crestron system, so keypads, touchscreens, and the app work the same way everywhere. It is far easier to do while the site work is open than after the driveway and the planting are finished.

Start with a survey. We identify the processors and panels, recover the programming if the previous installer left it, and tell you which parts still have a future. Most of Alpine’s largest homes predate 2012, and many still run the systems they were built with. Older Crestron and Lutron systems can usually be upgraded without opening walls.

Cameras record to equipment in the house, the network is divided so that guest and staff devices never see the control system, and remote access runs through accounts that you own. At the end of the job we hand over the administrator credentials and the documentation.

Altice (Optimum) and Verizon both hold cable franchises in the borough, but what is actually available depends on the street. We check at the address, and on larger properties we design for two connections with automatic failover, so a single outage does not take the house offline.
