Who installs home automation in Tenafly, NJ?+–

In Tenafly most of our work is new construction and major renovation: lighting control, shades, audio-video, cinema, networking, and security, designed with the architect and builder.
We are tearing down and building new. When do we call you?+–
When the architect starts the electrical and reflected ceiling plans. That is early enough to size the equipment room, place the shade pockets and speakers, and give the builder a scope to price. If framing has already started, call now; there is still time before insulation.
What does the builder’s electrician do, and what do you do?+–
The electrician installs the line-voltage wiring, the lighting loads, and the panels. We design the control system and its wiring, the network, audio, video, shades, and security; supply and program the equipment; and agree every location with the electrician so that nothing is installed twice.
Can the home office have its own network?+–
Yes. We separate work devices, family devices, guests, and the control system onto their own networks, and add a second internet connection that takes over automatically if the first one fails.
Do you service systems in older Tenafly houses?+–
Yes. We take over existing Crestron and Lutron systems, document them, and upgrade what has aged, usually on the wiring already in the walls.
