Smart Home, Lighting & AV in Warsaw.

The city where our European operations are based: new houses in Wilanów, a hundred historic villas in Konstancin-Jeziorna on the heritage register as a whole, one distribution operator for the capital, and a transfer switch that has to be agreed before it is wired. Warsaw wants the same system we build in New York, certified the Polish way.

Warsaw, Specifically

Certified the Polish Way.

Konstancin-Jeziorna's entire historic urban layout and building complex, the villa district, is entered in the register of historic monuments under number 1415-A, so work there follows heritage rules; the town holds roughly 100 historic villas, about 150 counting palaces and other protected estates. Anyone professionally installing electrical installations in Poland, home wiring and lighting circuits included, must hold a SEP qualification certificate for installations up to 1 kilovolt.

Stoen Operator runs the single distribution network covering all of Warsaw except Wesoła. A generator tied permanently into the house wiring with an automatic transfer switch needs the connection conditions agreed with the distribution operator first, and the switch must meet PN-EN 60947-6-1. Wilanów's median transaction price was about 19,200 złoty per square meter in 2025, behind only Żoliborz and Śródmieście, with asking prices of 18,000 to 21,400 in late 2026.

01 · Base

Our European Operations

Warsaw is where our European work is run from, so a Wilanów house or a Konstancin villa gets the same design, programming, and Cave Watch support as a New York apartment, with the execution certified by SEP-qualified electricians.

02 · Heritage

The Villa District, Reviewed

Konstancin's villa district is on the register as a whole, so anything visible on a historic villa goes through the conservator. We draw the exterior devices for the application and keep the system inside.

03 · Power

Agreed With Stoen First

A generator with an automatic transfer switch is agreed with the distribution operator before it is wired, and the switch meets PN-EN 60947-6-1. The rack sits on battery either way.

At a Glance

Warsaw in brief.

Heritage
Konstancin-Jeziorna's entire historic urban layout and building complex, the villa district, is entered in the register of historic monuments under No. 1415-A; the villa town holds roughly 100 historic villas, about 150 if palaces and other conservation-protected estates are counted.
Licensing
Poland requires anyone professionally installing or operating electrical, heating, or gas installations, including home wiring, lighting circuits, and low-voltage panels, to hold a SEP qualification certificate (group G1 for installations up to 1 kV), separate from building-design qualifications.
Generators
A standby generator used only as a stand-alone, disconnected source needs no notification, but once it is permanently tied into the house wiring with an automatic transfer switch the owner generally must agree connection conditions with the distribution operator before hookup; the transfer switch must meet PN-EN 60947-6-1:2015-10, and operators may require notification of automatically switched units.
Electric service
Electricity distribution in Warsaw and its immediate surroundings, including the areas near Wilanów, is operated by Stoen Operator, which runs the single distribution network covering the whole city except the Wesoła district.
Market
Wilanów was among Warsaw's priciest districts in 2025 transaction data, with a median of about 19,200 złoty per square meter, behind only Żoliborz and Śródmieście above 20,000; a late-2026 comparison put Wilanów asking prices at 18,000 to 21,400 złoty per square meter, alongside Wola.
Offices
Warsaw's office market tightened in the first half of 2026, with leasing up 38 percent year on year while citywide vacancy fell to 8.5 percent and central-zone vacancy to 4.8 percent.

Questions From Warsaw

Warsaw, Answered

Who installs Lutron and Crestron systems in Warsaw?+

Cave Group does. We are a Crestron Elite Gold Partner and Lutron Gold Dealer, our European operations are based in Warsaw, and we design, install, and service lighting control, shades, cinema, audio, networking, security, and backup power for houses and apartments in Warsaw, Wilanów, and Konstancin-Jeziorna, with SEP-qualified electricians executing the electrical work.

Is Cave Group local to Warsaw?+

Yes. Warsaw is where our European operations are based, so design, programming, commissioning, and Cave Watch support run from here, and the execution is certified by SEP-qualified electricians. Our New York offices are in Long Island City and Fairview, New Jersey.

Our villa in Konstancin is on the heritage register. Does that change the work?+

Outside, yes: the whole villa district is entered in the register under No. 1415-A, so anything visible on a historic villa goes through the conservator. We draw the exterior devices for the application and keep the system inside, where wireless Lutron keeps the walls closed.

Where can a generator go, and does it need notification?+

A stand-alone unit does not, but a generator tied permanently into the house wiring with an automatic transfer switch needs the connection conditions agreed with the distribution operator, Stoen Operator in Warsaw, before hookup, and the switch must meet PN-EN 60947-6-1. We size it for the house and the rack, place it on the site plan, and have the SEP-qualified electrician handle the paperwork.

Do you take over systems another company installed?+

Yes. We take over existing Crestron, Lutron, and Savant systems, and when a system can no longer be supported, whatever the brand, we plan a replacement that reuses the wiring already in the walls. It starts with a survey: we assess and document the equipment, recover or rebuild the programming, replace what has reached end of life, and bring the result under a Cave Watch support plan so the next problem has a phone number.
